Conventional Boilers are used in traditional systems throughout the country.  These open vented boilers usually have a heater tank fitted in the loft.  Hot water and central heating are provided simultaneously.  Hot water is stored in the cylinder until required and then drawn off through the hot taps around the house when required.  When the hot water is used up, you have to wait until the boilers re-heats the water for further use.
